Just sharing a quick snapshot I took of the beautiful Valerie on her wedding 10-10-10.
We went with one of my FAVORITE lips of any bride- a bold hot pink! It went really well with her beautiful skin tone.

As an educator for a cosmetics brand I get to travel all around to stores training their staff. One of the major perks of this is that I get to see all the new products before they hit the shelves!! Fall is my favorite time of year for new product launches- all the best stuff comes out for fall. Check your local Sephora in the coming weeks- the new lips, shadows and complexion pieces are to DIE for!

Currently in the process of gathering photos from brides over the last year. We are going to continue to share snap shots in the blog but are creating a photo gallery for all the lovely pro photos. I can NOT WAIT to share some of these weddings with you! For instance Jill:
Jill and Fred were married in August 2010. Their ceremony was in the courtyard of the amazing venue A New Leaf. Everything about the day was so beautiful. Jill's custom gown and their handmade branch-like rings really gave the look a personal feel. Her makeup was a clean natural and glowing look. No one could miss her naturally long lashes! Sara and Julia were honored to be the artists for a couple that are dear friends of Julia. 
Everything about their wedding was gorgeous! Set on lakefront property in Winnetka Illinois the couple was married at 5pm with the lake in the background. SO gorgeous! 
Kirsten wore her mother's wedding dress!! And the ring Mikey gave her was a beautiful 1930s band. So it was only fitting that her hair and makeup embraced the soft romantic vintage theme. Sara gave her a texturized romantic bun and Julia kept her makeup simple and glowing. Kirsten you might be our newest favorite Chicago bride!
