SO from the start I really wanted to make Pretty Windy City into a cooperative of artists. The beauty industry can be so competitive and daunting but when we work together we can learn so much from each other! I want to create an environment for artists to share their inspiration and teach each other new tricks and skills in a non-competitive environment.

Add to that CLIENT services! I feel that so often I am asked to do a wedding or event where I am already booked. For years I have had a network of other artists that I have referred those clients to. Pretty Windy City is just making that network official! We are all artists with a like mind and a similiar asthetic. We want to provide the best experience possible to each and every client.

So something I sometimes offer are small group private makeup lessons. This will be a regular class that you can book starting in the spring for sure- maybe sooner!!

Anyways- my favorite thing to teach is eye shape. You DO need to do your makeup differently depending on your eye shape. One of my favorite is makeup for an Asain eye. Recently my friend Amy was in from New York and I had the opportunity to play with eye makeup with her and some friends! So fun! Thanks AMY!!

After an EXHAUSTING month of moving we are finally all settled into our new home.
The good enws is that I know have a fully functional makeup studio space!! Today I officially got things moved around and settled in enough to have AMY and MICHELLE over for their makeup party on Thursday!!

I am really looking forward to being able to see clients in this space. Whether it's Friday night makeup or a wedding preview- we can do it all here at my "office."  :)
